Adaptronic universal in 1st gen?

I want to know if anyone ever put a adaptronic 440 universal ecu in a first gen rx7. I've always tuned carbs never messed with fuel injection. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

I'm sure it has been done, but if you are unfamiliar with aftermarket controllers, you should start in this section

And contact a reputable tuner and discuss your options with them. If you already have a local tuner, you are better off going with the engine controller that they support and tune.

If you are looking to buy a new one, the E440D has been replaced by the new modular M2000 ecu;

Is there a reason you prefer Adaptronic?
