AC hoses
Hello All,
I recently purchased a 93 RX7 which is in good running order excepts for the AC. The previous owner removed the coolant from the AC, I can only assume he was going to eventually remove the compressor but never got around to it. So I had the AC system pressure checked and it was leaking around the O-ring on the high side of the compressor. After replacing that it seems the high side hose now needs to be replaced. My question to the guru's is, Since this AC system has been without gas for a long time is this going to be a lost cause( i.e. every time I replace a part the leak will move to the next part). And if I want to get the AC back and functioning what course is suggested( replacing all hoses/o-rings?). Also being deployed to South Korea I would like to know if anyone knows of a part store that ships to APO addresses. As I am limited to one vehicle by military policy this will be my daily driver so it would be nice to get the AC working.
Regards,
M. Anderson
