Can someone explain what the benefits would be of installing the 99 spec efini y-pipe? thx

The 99 spec pipe is an all metal pipe. Our old stock ones have a rubber coupler that can rip and create a boost leak.

In higher boost situations? Or is this a problem as well with stock boost?

the early model y-pipe can break/loosen at stock boost. Proof? It happened to me a year ago
