99' spec RX-7 Turbos ??? Better ???

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about to buy a RX-7 and I've heard different answers with the 99 spec Turbos.

Can anybody tell me... It is a good decision to buy a JDM 99 spec Rx-7 insted of a JDM pre 99 spec Rx-7 and can you get more HP out of any version ?

I'm for sure I'll upgrade anytime to single turbo but not the first year. So I'm not sure to invest more in a 99 spec RX-7 if there is no really big difference.

Thanks so far for you help

Peter

99 and later turbos were marginally more efficient but not capable of any huge gains over the earlier models. Buy the car that's in the best overall shape and value. Don't worry about which turbos. Doing so would make even less sense if since you intend to go single.
