The shop that you paid to do the work needs to finish the job properly.

Sounds like they are chasing vacuum leaks and a misadjusted TPS.

Agree on both points. Have them finish the work (they can also download a Factory Service Manual if needed) and a vacuum leak(s) would be my first suspect for that idle problem.

What's the difference between a Turbo2 FC and a Normal FC, is turbo 2 the earlier gen?

??? A "normal" FC usually refers to "normally aspirated" or non-turbo. A TurboII obviously is turbocharged.

What shop did you bring the car to? Are they Rx7 specialists? I wouldn't pay for the car until it is complete.

Is the harness really bad? Corroded? Melted? Burned?

If it's just a few minor problems then the offending wires or connectors can be easily replaced for almost no cost (only a bit of labor).

ok i just bought the whole engine harness brand new and the shop has good feedback based off of this forum. Also, quick question why does it hear a loud pop when i rev high is it because i have a full cutback greddy exhaust? is that normal? i bought the car with that exhaust and i am not so sure if it should be sounding like that
