93 rx7, trouble starting

hey, i just bought a 93 rx-7 had it for bout 2 months, drive it rarely because i have another daily driver, has worked fine, but then didnt start it for over 2 weeks and i think the stereo system drained the bat because i had 2 jump start it every time. it started up fine everytime i jumped it and drove fine. so i took the bat out and charged it then tested it, tested good. but when i put the bat back in my car wont start 4 a dif reason. bat works lights come on it kicks over and everything just wont start. checked plugs they seem good, i have a fuel gage under the hood its reading 0, disconnected fuel line tried 2 see if we could get fuel 2 spit when we turn it and got nothing. car has lots of mods done 2 it will post mods asap jus 2 help, but lokkin 4 ideas now if any1 has sum

don't know about your fuel pressure, but it may be the chronic relay issue that plague's third gen's. It will seem like you have a bad starter, but it really is a short between the ignition and starter. pettit has a kit (http://www.pettitracing.com/rx7/index_ignition.htm) or the Rx-7.com guys have a fix for it.

check the fuel pump or the hose line to the pump.. i went through 2 walbros b4 i found one that would actually work for more than a couple starts..

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the FD?

Start with this to verify fuel pressure:
- Open the little diagnostic box between the battery and wheel well.
- Open a paper clip and use it to connect the "F/P" and one of the "GND" terminals in this box
- Turn the ignition to On
- This will run the fuel pump. If you don't hear it or don't see fuel pressure then go back to the fuel pump and check for voltage across it's leads. If you get voltage then pull the pump and inspect for bad wiring or a dead pump.

Wont start floods out

Hi 93 rx7 (workin on it for a friend)
this car floods like none other.
a little background, the fuel return line was crushed/kinked replaced that.
It still seems to flood so bad it won't start. I'm a PRO at "deflooding" pull the plugs, kill the pump ect.
clean/ dry plugs back in. crank it over and it's flooding so bad that gas will eventually drip from the exhaust. I have checked, spark, Got it. changed plugs, replaced o rings on injectors. (did a ghetto leakdown test using a vacuum pump to try and suck air through the injectors.

the fuel regulator on the other hand seems to whistle air through it if you blow in the vac line that goes to the regulator. any help guys? any body know if that's how your regulator responds?

also, in a couple weekends i'll be able to get a fuel pressure tester. where do it tie it into the system to get a good reading?

you can email me at wolf "zero" "zero" "one" @ gmail.com or txt me 509.969.6495 (washington state) Thanks a BUNCH!!!
