93 rx7 oil filter

Can't get my oil filter off, bought a 63mm oil filter wrench and it's too big, what size oil filter wrench fits, it's the smallest oil filter I've ever seen?

Best way to get the right wrench for any car is to buy the new oil filter and then go to the tool shop to get the right wrench.

Take a small pick or punch and hammer it into the oil filter to relieve the pressure. have a rag handy as some oil might dribble out. I do that with all my filters, way easier to get out that way.

I like this type as it self adjusts to fit any size:

Amazon Amazon

Then just put the new one on by hand

^I would NOT do his. There is no pressure affecting the removal.

They also make oil filter sockets. That's what I use on the occasion I need it. Get the cast design as opposed to the stamped-steel versions. I only put my filter on hand-tight with an oiled gasket, and most of the time I can spin them off by hand.
