Hey lads, recently did the stupid mistake of drilling a hole in my trunk so the water collect in the bottom could escape.

Unfortunately I when right though the trunk metal and also the top of the gas tank

When I did this I heard what sounded like it was depressurizing and smell fuel. what water was in the trunk I try soaking up so it wouldn't all go into the tank.

I know I have to flush the tank, but my main question is, is my tank f#*ked ? The hole size I drilled was not that big it was only 1/8 of a inch big but because I heard what I thought sounded like the tank depressurize well it still operate right ?
