Alright i figured out the problem with the car. I pulled off the air intake and found a couple of loose vacuum lines there too. Still seem to be having a bit of a missfire and kinda slow start? I was wondering what all i can do to the car to get the best performance out of it. Ive already got a full 3 inch exhaust from the manifold back. No cats. And the air intake what else can i do?

I thought it was prettt reliable untill that stuff happened.
How long does it usually take to do all the vacuum lines on the car? And does the aem ecu and commander eliminate all the vacuum lines? Is there a way i can do it with out getting a new ecm?

AFAIK, AEM doesn't make a commander.
And no, you can't eliminate all the vacuum lines just by installing an aftermarket ECU.
You questions tell me you REALLY need to start by reading through the stickys, searching and reading through some threads. Learn about this car first before trying to modify it beyond it's current condition.
gracer7-rx7 gave you some good advice. Start by making it reliable. Otherwise your going to be frustrated, poorer and selling it at a loss within a year when you realize it's no fun to look at parked in your driveway.

The FD is about 17 years old on average at this point. **** happens on old cars - especially ones as complex as this one.
Vac lines will take a while. They aren't easy to access. Read the FAQ to get more insight on how to approach that project. Expect to break solenoids and other stuff when trying to replace vac lines. Do yourself a favor and don't screw around with the car until you have a better idea what you are getting involved in. The car is complicated so learn it before jumping into it or deal with the downtime of learning how to fix your mistakes.
