93 Rx7

I just bought my RX7 last year but just recently been driving it. I've noticed that alot of the parts are either broken or ARE breaking. Is there any sites or reliable information that anyone can help me with. I don't really have money for a mechanic and am kinda retarded when it comes to automobiles. But I catch on quick and have a few people that are good with cars to help me out. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, you have come to right place for info. Here is a link to start you out:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

Its the 3rd gen FAQ thread chock full of useful threads. Spend a few days reading.

Replacement used parts can be bought from the forum Classifieds. New OEM parts can be bought from Ray Crowe parts manager at Malloy Mazda. He gives us nice discounts. His phone and email are in the FAQ thread I posted.

Check the West section for the next San Diego RX7 Club meeting. There are a couple of guys from Oceanside that used to attend when I lived there.

kimotoguchi,

If you start listing what's broken and/or failing, we can assist you a little better.

Well, I'm not sure exactly. Most of the car is in great shape, still runs great for 140k and as far as broken. I have the attatchment where the door handle is on the inside thats broken and the power switch for the windows.

Pretty standard stuff for a 140k mile car that happens often with FDs. You can get replacement parts from Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda. His number is in the FAQ.

Now with all of these products, how can you tell which is better? I mean, I'm not good with cars and comparisons on the products vs performance and endurance. Is there a difference from better and faster?
