CA 93 FD LS swap with stock subframe?

Hello,

I'm looking to swap an LS1 / T56 combo from a Camaro into my FD. I see that there are a few companies offering a swap subframe for the conversion. I have no problem fabbing up new motor mount stands, sectioning the crossmember, etc. on my own.

Has anyone here ever done the swap without the conversion subframe?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eric

@ Mazdaax, "kits, we don't need no stinking kits!"

Thanks for the tip!
