91 na hard to cold start
91 na hard to cold start
91 na. All stock except catback. 141k miles. Having a problem with cold starts. And by cold starts, I mean the first time I start it in the day. About 25 degrees here in the morning. The car takes a while to start & I know you don't want to hear this, but I'll have to give it just a bit of throttle to get it started. After that, I have no problems at all. Every start after that on the same day has no problems. Car runs perfect, no lights, no misses. I recently did an oil/filter change, plugs & a compression test which came back great. Only thing I still have to do is fuel filter.

Check the obvious first: connections at the battery and ground, and associated cables.
If the injectors have never been serviced, having them cleaned professionally will make everything better.

Check the water thermosensor at the ECU. Wire is Green/Yellow and it should read 2 to 3 volts w/key to on and engine cold. Sensor helps the ECU to decipher how much fuel is used on a cold start.
