90 fc running lean!
i have a dinky little AF meter, its running lean when i get on it. idles fine. feels like its getting choked. before i got the car, it sat for "about a year". i drove home with no problems (about an hour or so drive). after about a month started bogging, did a full tune up (spark plugs and wires, oil/filter, air filter) then it ran perfect again. about 3 months later (now) it started bogging again. replaced the spark plugs and wires, ran fine for a couple days, still bogging. just recently i saw my AF meter reading "lean" i only noticed it today because i was driving at night and i could actually see the AF meter when it lit up. bogs like hell, loss of power but only lasts for a little. then runs fine for a bit. then acts up again. im thinking its a clogged fuel injector, or bad fuel pump since it sat for so long. but i also had it running for a good amount of time as well. any suggestions or tips would be great, thanks.
my specs:
rb headers
hollowed cat
spectre cone filter
stock everything else
also rebuilt 13b with about 5k miles.

Is this a narrowband meter?
Have you replaced the oxygen sensor? An old O2 sensor isn't going to read correctly.
Since you have headers I also assume you've eliminated the air pump and associated emissions hardware? If you have a fully functioning air pump and ACV, the gauge will read full lean at cruise and idle due to the air being pumped into the exhaust.
Since the car sat, have the injectors been professionally serviced? If not it needs to be done.
Check your grounds as per Proper RX-7 Grounding Procedures and adjust your TPS.

i believe its a narrowband. ever since i got the car, i havent done anything with the fuel system (fuel pump, strainer, fuel filter, or injectors) whats the FASTEST way to solve this problem? my car is going to be in the BLOX open house show this saturday and i need it running so i can get there lol.
i have not yet replaced the o2 sensor, the gauge getting a false reading isnt my only concern. its when im driving my car bogs when i get on the gas and i can feel a drastic decrease in power. i was told many things.
"exhaust leak can cause it to run lean"
"fuel strainer could be clogged up"
"fuel filter needs to be replaced"
"clean the injectors"
"maf"
"fpr"
i was also wondering if anyone has used seafoam on their rotary, it doesnt seem like a good idea since it might eat away at the seals but yeah. thanks

Check grounds.
Adjust and test TPS.
Check the fuel pump and filters.
After sitting for a year it's going to need the fuel system flushed and the injectors professionally serviced.
