is there any way to elliminate the smog pump on a 6 port motor with out creating chaos with the porting system? Any tip would be greatly appreciated.

 

Not without re-engineering the 6PI & VDI actuation setup.

 

Im currently running headers, no cat 3 inch apexi n1 exhaust on an S5 NA 6 port and would like to uprade the pulley system by eliminating the power steering, A/C pump, & belted smog pump. Has anybody every hear of wiring in an electrical smog pump from an rx-8 or other make of vehicle?

 

the pump in question pumps air not smog.
