88 s4 idle and running issues

I'm still kinda new to rotaries but I get the whole concept. But I do have an issue with my rx7 that I can't seem to get.
Basically while I'm driving around and i hit a bumpy road or a pothole my revs will go down about 1000 rpms and quickly go back to its original rpms. So it kinda cuts out while I'm driving as if something were loose or not connected properly?
Also i will be driving and I get to a light or stop and put it in neutral and the rpms will drop all the way and sometimes just die will still going. But before I stop I put it in gear and let the clutch out and it'll turn right on. What could that be?
And the idle is sometimes a little rough like bouncin up and down between 700-1200 rpms. I'm thinking it's a vacuum leak or a bad maf sensor? I know that when I bought the car, the guy had told me the alternator belt needs to be replaced. It squeaks a lot and it was very loose when I first got it. It does look like a pretty bad belt but could that be the problem? Any help please!!! I daily drive it so it's kind of important!
