88 Rx7 question

Hey I had a question for all you guru's out there.

http://rochester.craigslist.org/cto/1136842058.html

the rx7 in this add has sat for a few months. Ive contacted the dude about it but all he really said (in the jumble that was his speak) is that it drives fine but starts up when it wants to.

Now I have heard prior to all of this doing my own research that its common for some years of Rx7 to flood (though I am unsure of the year( I think this was the type they were talking about.

What kind of problems would really cause an rx7 to start up when it "wanted to"?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Jari

It is probably in poor tune, and flooding.

The flooding will be caused by worn out injectors or low compression. Or both.

How easy are injectors to change? And if it is a low compression issue how would the fix be for that?

Pretty much would be a shop job then?
