Yeah I hear the cold thing. I have a garage, but the heater blows ( And it isn't in the good way) I'd pop the fuel line off at the filter and crank it once and see if the pump is actaully pumping.

What you describe to me almost sounds like a bad injector. Try this:

-unbolt the upper intake manifold from the lower, but don't disconnect anything else. Just lift the manifolds apart by about an inch or so

-jump the yellow test connector at the passenger shock tower (it might have fallen underneath the airbox)

-turn the key to IGN/RUN

-the fuel pump should now be running

-look down the lower manifold. Are any of the injectors hosing fuel into the engine?

If the answer is "yes", you have a locked injector.

Yep, I know you said they are new injectors, but new parts fail as well.

I heard this saying once:

"Cars are like sex. At first, every guy thinks he's great at it. But when he gets into it a little, he realizes how much he really has to learn."

Some people bite off far more then they can chew and when they hit a problem they don't understand, instead of admitting it, they just bungle around and cause more damage.

That said, I might be totally off base on my injector diagnosis. But based on considerable experience with bad injectors, that's what first came to mind.

OK, so at the moment, do you have spark?

And do you have fuel?
is that for all four? and what do they do media blast and re hone them?

So damn true. Changed an engine in a rx8 a while ago, got it done, fluids topped off and double checked everything. Cranked it, and got her started. She barely ran and when I reved it up it seemed to smooth out. After tinkering around with it and scanning for codes I had a random misfire code (P0300). I ended up taking a glance at the CAS ( which is located on the front of the motor)and the pick-up ring. Saw the ring wobbling. I was like WTF. So I pull the puleys off and yank the ring. With someone cranking the engine for me I found that the essentric shaft was bent. Called Mazda techline with my findings. They sent me another engine. Lol, Someone screwed up somewhere. So, as much as I hate to believe it. 'New' doesn't always equal 'known good part.'

I know it's an old post, but check your fuel pressure regulator.
