'88 flywheel help

WA '88 flywheel help

i know that the flywheel bolt is 54mm however i can not find one anywhere that's lest then $70, how bad is it to not resurface the flywheel? and anyone know where i could buy or rent one, as in a 54mm socket?

Google it. This was one of the hits: http://www.amazon.com/OTC-6612-Heavy.../dp/B0002STRPO. $25 for a 1/2" drive 54mm socket.

And resurfacing really is worth it. If you bolt it all back together and find you have clutch chatter, you'll be pretty pissed about having to drop the transmission again.

thanks for the link and the info on the chatter. i just found a buddy that works at a shop that has one and i should be able to get it from him tomorrow and il get it off then. thanks again for the help
