88' FC3S wheel / tire fitment

Hey all! I'm in the process of building up a 10th AE FC3S and was wondering if someone would know how to go about fitting the following specc'd wheels on there (if possible).

Advan RGII's 17x7.5 +37 offset 100x5

They're old wheels that were on my BRZ.. I know the FC doesn't have the same bolt pattern and the offset is decently high. Hoping somebody on the forums has some insight on whether or not it would work out.

There is an official wheel and tire fitment thread in the Second Gen section. Just search for it and you will likely find the answer to what you are looking for. The chances of it working are slim because you will need adapter spacers and most are at least 1" (25mm) thick, which would put your offset to +12. You're better off selling the wheels and getting some that fit properly.

I looked through the fitment thread but couldn't find an answer. I would post in that thread to see if anyone there could help me out but my account doesn't have permission.

I'd be willing to sell the wheels but I have to fix 1 + repaint them so I feel as I'd probably come out even after selling them (if I did). Really want the fitment to work.

You obviously didn't look hard enough, but I'll give you the easy answer.

No, it will not work.

on fc3spro.com they have a wheel fitment guide, so I'll transcribe it here.

Min Rec Max
7.5" +25 +30 +35 225 wide tire

The minimum offset you could run without blowing apart your fenders or rubbing is +25. With spacers and assuming that they would be 25mm thick, your offset is not going to allow it to work. Conversion spacers are a last ditch janky effort anyways. Sell your wheels and get some new ones. That wheel size will fit on more than just a BRZ.

I appreciate the help man. I know the wheels fit most subbies and evos as well. Hopefully I can get them sold and buy some advan's that fit properly ^_^.

Probably not an EVO, as they are 5x114.3 a well. They will fit almost any subaru, except the STI
