88 FC Drift build.

Hey guys, I have an 88 FC and I'm building it for drifting and was wondering if you could give me some suggestions on which parts I should buy first. The car is entirely stock in nature. It also runs and drives fine, with a slight idle issue.

What's the model? Turbo? NA?

Generally you should make sure all the maintenance is up to date before you begin modifying it. A good place to start when that's all sorted is the suspension and cooling systems. (Brand name coilovers and radiator)

After all basic maintenance is done (new plugs, fluids, filters, etc) I'd upgrade the cooling system, suspension (coilovers at a minimum), locked diff, and some good rear brake pads for locking the rear wheels.
