87 T2 vacuum questions

Hey there, I'm new to rotaries and recently picked up an 87 turbo.
tb mod, emissions delete, s5 turbo, ect...

Is this little nipple on the vacuum line to the wastegate actuator supposed to go anywhere that I don't know about or should there be a plug on it ?
