'87 with clutch issues

Hi everyone! Been lurking around the forums for a while, and now I need some help! I have an '87 NA RX-7 I picked up a few months ago. I was driving the other day from work when the clutch just seemed to "give out" and the pedal went to the floor. I managed to get a tow to where I live, and looked under the hood. After doing some looking, I noticed the slave cylinder boot was pretty much gone, so I replaced that and bled the lines. Still no pedal pressure.

I had a friend pull the pedal up and depress it, and the slave moves with the pedal push, but I noticed the clutch fork seems really loose. How bad does it sound to everyone else more experienced with the RX7's? Am I looking at another clutch/throwout bearing/pressure plate?

The clutch fork does have a bit of movement on the pivot ball. You can try to actuate the clutch manually by clamping a long lever onto the fork and moving it, feeling the resistance of the pressure plate. Problems with the fork are rare though.

Most likey the slave cylinder failed. In which case you should replace the master cylinder, clutch flex line and slave cylinder.
