86 rx7 wont go in 3rd 4th or 5th

I just got this 86 rx7 and it was running good but then wouldn't let me shift to 3rd 4th or 5th. 1st 2bd and reverse is good. What's my problem? Is it bad?

If you can't shift into some gears, obviously either the linkages from your shifter are broken, or the transmission itself is having issues.

Take it to a transmission shop?

When I removed the shifter boot the shifter bushin was just sittin there bent all up so I think that's the problem ordered a new one off mazdatrix

NO linkage on a rx7..the shifter sits in the tail stock of the transmission.
OP: I was gonna mention that the bushings could break and cause that but I guess you got that sorted out..good stuff Man!
