86 rx7 idle problems

after my car gets warmed up and whyl i am driving it it floods itself and i have to hold the gas to the floor till it starts running again

could be timing are you sure its flooding and not just stalling out

ya because it will stay running but it smokes and u can smell the gas and it spits n sputters when u give it gas when it doing it

Spark plugs and or wires could be problematic or the coils are not efficient or the Water Thermosensor is not sending the proper signal to the ECU which affects the amount of fuel injected into the engine or the fuel injectors are clogged or problematic or the exhaust is restrictive/clogged and causing the car to die.

ya i thought the same thing about the injectors being cloged but it runs fine for awile. i just put new coils an also

i dont know much about fuel injection but can you adjust the amount of fuel going in cause with a carb that can happen from running to rich
