KY 86 RX-7 won't start

I have a 86 RX-7, everything was running great (2yrs), but now it won't start? Spark plugs were dirty and corroded, swap them out for new plugs. Smelt gas, pulled plugs. They were full of gas. Did arc test while buddy cranked engine got good spark. What troubleshooting procedure should I do and in what order?

So was the car running well for 2 years, or running well two years ago and then parked? Those situations will each have very different answers.

Did this happen suddenly?

It may be that the car is just flooded. Disconnect the crank angle sensor, remove both leading plugs, and crank the car to blow out all the fuel. Put about an ounce of oil into each chamber, rotate the engine by hand, repeat, then put a new set of plugs in and try to start it.

Unflood it before doing a compression test.

If it continually floods regardless of how many times you try to unflood it, then you may have lost an injector.

If the compression remains low after it is thoroughly unflooded, then you may have a bad engine.
