AL 12a to 13b How hard?

Ok, so i have been looking into getting a 13b possibly a turbo II I am curious though as to how hard the swap would be. Also would i need to get a tranny and driveshaft with the new motor or could the stock 12a bolt up?

From everything I've read, it's not that difficult, just expensive. The front plate has to be swapped or a new mounting system devised. The rest I forget...anyone know this stuff off-hand? Feel free to link us to other threads that go into detail...

yes u'll have to use the 12a front cover. u'll have to mod the front engine mount or get one from RB or mazdatrix. since the t2 uses a larger flywheel, u'll have to use the tranny also. should be able to use the fb shaft. then there's the wiring whether u keep the FI or go carb and blow thru.
