i have my diff pulled apart and was going to weld it solid, its the clutch type... did some research on welding it and have got mixed opinions on welding it... im gunna weld it so no need to tell me not to, just want to know the full process. have read you can weld the 4 circle wholes and rounded rectangular whole in the diff,,,,, or take it apart and pull two clutch disks out and clamp together and weld it while out of diff. is there a point to removing the two disks or could you just weld it solid as is? if anyone had a good thread to shoot my way or has a step by step that would be much appreciated..
