86' GXL problems
Okay so I just bought my first rx7 about a month ago and now I am having a few problems.
Problem 1: The car sometimes doesn't start or idols very low around 500 rpms and then dies.
Problem 2: I'll be driving and all of a sudden I lose all compression what-so-ever and it will either put around like it's out of gas or die out on me.
Problem 3: Recently while i was driving casually I stopped at a stop sign. Took off and when i shifted to 2nd and went to hit the gas it engine braked on me. I took my foot off the gas and it stopped. I then tried to hit the gas again and it just engine braked.
I don't know much about rotaries, that's why I bought it was to learn. My ECU beeps two times pauses then repeats. And sometimes one long beep.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank You

1. Start with a full tuneup and check for vacuum leaks. Test the TPS and BAC as per the instructions in the FSM.
2. Sounds like an intermittent electrical issue. Check wiring around the coils, check the plug wires, etc.
3. I'm not sure this is even English.
