Huh? Your tach is only working some of the time? If I remember right, the tach signal for the gauge comes from the trailing coil. You might consider testing/replacing the trailing coil. There should be a test in the FSM.

retap the tach green lead. If youre saying the car runs while youre tach works you hooked it up way wrong. Trace the steps back and connect the wired you might have cut. Connect any other cut wires. All else fails buy a new turbo 2 w ecu and wiring harness and call me.

I can be wrong here. Not being a smart ace here. The trailing coil completes the ignition cycle right? It's possible if you replace the leading plugs you should replace the trailing. At least pull them out and brush them clean main. I manage a shop on Colonial in Orlando if youre in the area. No cost for a second opinion. "We dont work on cars" just put aftermarket wheels on. I do have a lift and a bunch of car knowledge though. The rotary is so simple and neat I just love it. And no bull. I love letting the clutch go at 8 not having to worry about dropping a valve or the crank. Zoom Zoom blatches!!! I'd say this is Mad Mike but I dont have his car or bank roll. Mike
