85'gsl se four banger conversion

does any one know if i can swap out my rotary engine (13B) i beleive, for an inline four, I4, four banger, whatever you call it, can it be done and where can i find an engine and conversion kit to do it? email me if you have any idea, ilikeanimeandmanga@hotmail.com

yes it can be done but i doubt there is a "kit" for it. you'd just have to make your own mounts and probably relocate some things/do some macguyvering here and there. not to mention youd have to either swap the transmission too or somehow mate your existing one to whatever engine you pick. and if you swap the trans then you'll either need a custom driveshaft or swap in the rear end as well. it's a **** ton of work, swapping engines from other cars is not a simple bolt in thing lol

troubles with the 85 STARTING?

i decided it would be pretty pointless to swap my motor with a 4 banger, so i am going to keep the rotary engine(13B). but it wont start...i replaced the fule pume on it when i bought it, drove it 250miles home, and since then it refuses to start, and i have no idea why! any help with where to start would be greatly appreciated.THANK YOU

does it turn over, or at leastmake a clicking sound, is the battery in good condition, is there fuel in the tank. just some baseline questions ill keep in touch.

we can talk u thru it: start with the basics. if the starter is turning the engine then check to make sure the engine is getting the 3 things it needs to run; air, fuel, and ignition(at the sparkplug). no different than a pist-on.
