85 GSL-SE Passenger Mirror Screw Size

Need to replace one of the two passenger passenger side door mirror screws- the two screws that bolt straight up into the mirror housing to keep the mirror on.

I don't see the mirrors and hardware in the FSM (if I missed it, a page number would be helpful).

BlackDragon lists only a complete mirror.

The exact screw size and length would be helpful, as well as a source for the screw.

I think it's an M5, probably 16mm?

Thanks, Neil

If you have them take them to the parts store and match them up for replacement. Or take the other one apart and match them up. That's what I always do. Looking it up takes much longer unless you never had the bolt/screw/nut to begin with. Then is like having a gun and grabbing different calibers of rounds and see what fits and shoot.

Thanks for the reply. I should have added that I searched 4 online parts sources and came up with nothing remotely similar in a countersunk head. Lots of M5 flat head bolts. I'll try in person anyway and at least I should be able to match the threads to a known nut and then order something online.

Sounds like a plan to me. Sorry couldn't be more helpful.
