Ok resently purchased a 85 GSL-SE 13b 5 speed, was told car needed tps and the intake put back on. I've put everything to getter and new tps and nothing. A soon as you turn the key it blows the engine fuse I've looked all over trying to figure out what the heck isn't wrong, any ideas would be helpful.

 

My guess is a short or bad alternator.

 

I was assuming there was a short, I've disconnected the alternator and still blows the engine fuse.

Anyone know what runs of the engine fuse?

update on the car found my fuse issue, ended up being a plug in the wrong connector, car is back together ended up needing a new fuel pump too. anyway i still can not get the car to run it will fire run for a split second and die. any advice would be appreciated going to check how good the spark is tomorrow and put a fresh charge on the battery.

 

Update again car runs and drives, had a fuel line leak and it leak all the gas out. Put some gas in and its running but does not idle correctly revs from about 1100 rpms to 1600 rpms, ive adjusted the tps and look for vacuum leaks.
