Having odd problem with my 85 fb, when accelerating at freeway speeds it begins to sputter and if given too much gas will flat out die on me. I've searched the board on the problem but I can seem to pin down if its a problem with my TPS my Fuel Filter or my Fuel pump all together. Any advice on where to start?

 

From what I've read here it sounds like it could be a fuel filter, but as a general rule with cars I always start replacing parts in order starting with the least expensive.
That way even if it is an expensive problem you won't have spent too much before before a correct diagnosis. Since a fuel filter is around $5, I would pinch the line and replace the old one even if its a few months old, and go from there.
