84 fb n/a idles high
So, i have a 84 fb n/a and it idles around 2k and is running rich. I had read that the hose from the exhaust to the intake box can cause a vacuum leak. Mine is on but not tight. Can this be part of the problem and tuning be the rest? And how do i know if i have a nikki carb or not so i can figure out how to tune it?

welcome to the board.
you're probably right in that you're dealing with a vacuum leak. however, that hose is not it. get a copy of the FSM from Foxed.ca or search for a thread that has a copy of the vacuum diagram, then go ahead a replace all the vacuum lines. it's probably due time for them.
