i recently purchased a one owner 83 RX7 that i am interested in converting to a LS1 or LS2 with a auto or T56. is this possible or even supported by parts availability to make this happen? i have seen several incidents where this has been done to second and third gen RX but not in the Gen 1. thanks for any info. The Grannyspeedshop.com should have all that you need to do this. I believe they can help with a GM conversion or Ford 5.0.

 

I had previously found Grannys. i will probably use their mounts. I am wondering if there is a market for my Rotary and 5 speed. it runs and shifts great.
