83 gsl no spark

2 of my plugs are getting no spark . when i crank it , its doesn't sound right . its giving like a starter whine . the fan spins .. and i replaced the starter . brand new. refurb .. lols . anyway starter is not the problem for no spark i know that .
both ignition coils are good . i've narrowed it down to control modules. well i thought i did . i switched ignition control modules and the side of the engine with no spark changes .. so i went ahead and bought a new one . same thing no spark .. i've dumped almost 600usd into this problem trying to fix it. bought new starter , ignition coil, new distributor cap and rotor , ignition control module ... i'm completely lost . by the way, one symptom i've been having before the car died completely . every 200-300 miles the car would buck and die . i would replace the fuel filter and it would run fine for another 2-300 miles . one day on my lunch break it ran rough and just died completely .. started doing that whine. i had it towed home and have been messing with it ever since

Car is completely stock. a true survivor with 66,000 miles . maybe the MSD ignition mod would fix this . I don't wanna drop any more money into this thing without being completely sure.

The ignitor toward the front of the dizzy is leading, the one that really counts. If you have juice from there to your leading plugs (lower) you're on the way.
