A header and a free flowing exhaust will make the biggest difference, assuming the carb is tuned properly. After that improvements are only slight unless you want to open the engine or go forced induction.

I'd say concentrate of a nice suspension so you can efficiently use the power you have.

What kind of carb does it have? If it's a stock Hitachi from an old-school 13B, there's a fair bit of horsepower to be freed up with a bigger carb. As Aaron Cake says, a good exhaust system will make the biggest difference.

We can't tell you much without more information. Take pictures of the engine bay, the motor itself, the carb, and the exhaust, whatever you think might be relevant, and we can try to determine what you have.

Yep, carb/exhaust/ignition/suspension. Then you'll have a very nice, tight, quick car. If you want to be fast, rather than quick, then you'll need to look into forced induction and hope you're rich enough to keep up with it.

www.re-speed.com has outstanding suspension parts.
