Hello i got a 79 fully stock rx7 12a 5 spd with a/c and full emissions w/ catalytic converter. The engine is fully rebuilt no smoke burns no oil or coolant and ran great with another carb setup but never with the stock carb. Can anyone assit me with tuning this carb, its backfiring when you shift or take up the RPMS and dont hold down the gas slightly when shifting or allowing the rpms to go back down, also it was idling before but no it wont there is no vacuum leaks but i dont know there is a screw right near where the metering pump rod connects and i think i may have messed up by turning it. I really would rather just use the stock carb and remove all the extra emissions junk
