Why would it need a rebuild? A rotary can go 2-300k miles if taken care of.

If the car runs fine, drives fine, makes good power and starts easily, then it won't need to be rebuilt.

There is no rule that says an engine needs a rebuild after so many miles.

Perform a compression test. Three even bounces above 90 indicates a good engine.

Drive it and it it drives and sounds fine then it most likely won't need a rebuild.
