6 or 12 point socket

CA 6 or 12 point socket
Just finished all of the external dis-assembly on my engine, so now I have to pull off the flywheel nut. Is it best to use a 6-point socket for this job?

welcome to the board.

I think 6 would be best, but mine is 12 and I've never had an issue with rounding, so I don't think it much matters.
