5th+6th port actuator questions

Is there any vacuum hoses or anything supposed to be attached to the actuators?
Because on mine on the bottom of them there is just screws in them.
I've seen some in pictures and in manuals that have hoses. Where does this hose go? How is it operated? The car is a 84 GSL-SE
Thank you

I believe the GSL-SE has it set up like an S4 NA. On the S4, the actuators are fed air though small holes in the LIM, and their source is a metal hardline connected by a hose to the split air pipe. Only S5 NAs have individual lines run to their actuators.

off topic, kinda
i understand in a s5 the ACV gets air fromk the pump and directs it to the main cat, the 5th and 6th ports, and the "muffler" under the headlight, right? the air going in the aux. ports is un meatered air, and you dont want that, right?

Air from the air pump never enters the engine except through the ACV's anti-afterburn valve (AAV), and that is only on deceleration. The air used to activate the aux. port actuators does not go into the intake.
