48 IDA air horn\trumpet covers
Hi guys and gals,
i have a 13b bridgeport with a 48 ida.
when the car is warm she fires up no problems, now when the car is cold and idas do not have a choke it takes a couple mins to get the car started, now i was experimenting this morning and i placed a plastic bread board over the air horns to limit air flow and she pretty much started up straight away (when cold)
my question is..is this bad for the motor? i dont see how it would be as i removed the board as soon as she started to fire. also i was thinking about purchasing a cover for the air horns like so
just for those cold starts, what you guys recon?
