45mm weber for a streetport 12a
45mm weber for a streetport 12a
I just picked up an 81 FB with a street ported engine. It has a jetted Niki and Racing Beat header and exhaust.
I'm looking at a 45 DCOE Weber and Racing Beat manifold. it has been suggested that I would need a 47mm to meet the needs of a street port.
I know little to nothing about rotaries, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd

No idea myself but you'd better be ready for jet tuning and how to do it properly when you step into the down/side draft carburetor world. Let's see if any 1stgen carb guru's are back from Church yet.

The guy that turned me on to RX-7's has a set of Racing Beat springs for the FB.
I still need tires. The ones on the car are more than 6 yrs old. I'm struggling with whether or not to go up to 15" wheels.

I posted some pics on a different thread, "12a detonated". It seems I know a guy that was a Mazda instructor in a past life. He seemed certain that it was the stationary gear that failed.
