2nd generation problems!

I have a 1987 non turbo and the other day the right headlight just decided to no longer come up! Is this a common problem? Is there a way to raise it manually? Also are wheel bearings common to be replaced cause the car only has 58,000 miles on it and it started huming real bad from the back passanger sied the other day?

Thanks

you probably have an electrical issue such as the motor of that head light needs to be replaced or something of that nature. Not sure about the bearings, but you should look into replacing it and checking alignment or any other local defective parts assisting this problem

VA hmmmmmmmmmm........

there is a manual crank under the front of the car on each side for each light....

it's covered by a black rubber protective boot...

as far as the wheel bearings... in the back on all 2nd gens they are sealed... highly unlikely for that to be the problem... have the tire and balance checked out... also check your drive axles...

hope this helps...

If you dont want to drive aroun all day with your head lights up you can get a Mod for you headlights and make them the kind that dont Flip up allot of FC over here in japan are moving away from the old school flip up lights and going with the fixed. this will also eliminate the problem from happening again in the future.

Check the headlight relays. If the relays are good, then it's possible the headlight motor is bad. You can repair them, but they are easy and cheap to find used.
