20b build? "+++"
So I bought a 20b engine, 56000km not bad shape good compression.
I want to do the least amount of work that I can to get around 400hp.
So far everyone I know has given me advise but none of them have a rotary engine, asked the guy at the local rx7 shop but all I found out is he's an ***.
My thoughts are turn the factory boost up(maybe 14psi?), more efficient intercooler, minor tuning, cold air intake and exhaust. I am not sure if this will get me the gains I want or if it will be reliable. I don't want to start replacing internals unless I have too, and I would like to keep the factory turbos. I know single turbos seem to be the way every one goes though, so what is the limit for the factory turbos?
This is going in my 1993 efini and i just want a nice reliable street cruser with a bit of competitive pep, I already have a 1000+hp mustang don't need another doomsday machine.
