Is there a way to open the trunk without using the power switch inside the car ? like a manual trunk release of some sort? The key dosent fit the trunk lock and theres no battery in the car . If all else fails I can always throw a battery in it to pop the trunk .

 

if you remove the lock theres a little lever just inside to the right that you push down on to open it.

 

I just hooked up a battery in it and the switch worked
