OR 1st Gen Stickers! Is this Fixable?

http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/2676644596.html

This car looks like a peach. I've been looking for a clean GSL-SE for a while now, but I can't say I agree with the aesthetic choices here. Do you think these are removable? They don't look too baked on, but I've never removed stickers off of clearcoat before.

What do you think?

There is a divice that body men use to remove stickers and adhesives that is a rubber disc that you put in a drill. It does a good job of removing stickers without harming the finish. I think you could use it on of those to get them off fairly well. The shame of it is that it is a really nice car other than the stickers. Some people are just stupid.

Yeah... hairdryer and then Goo-Gone for the remaining residue. I wouldn't use anything abrasive on it. Stickers don't harm paint, but removing them sure can if you're not careful.

x2...I've always had success using a hairdryer to remove unwanted stickers off paint.

The aforementioned rubber disc really does work well for removing stickers and the like. I used one to remove the pin striping on mine and it worked perfectly.

Please go to his house and use a variety of stickers to remove all the hair from his body. Get some 3M adhesive and then proceed to remove his flesh. That has got to be the ugliest arrangement of decals I've ever seen. That being said, hairdryer as others were saying will work for removal.

what a dope (the perspn that applied all those stickers)

the wheel mentioned above is actually for removing pin striping

use a blow dryer or better yet heat gun, harbor freight has an inexpensive one

this will remove the sticker but not all of the ahesive

then get some 3M # 08984 - General Adhesive Remover
use small pieces of towel do not use paper towels
you'll end up doing it atleast twice but it will look like there were never stickers on the car

then he still may need a good finger nail removal excerise

I 2nd, 3rd and 4th the advice above. A heat gun/hairdryer you may have around or the decal removing disks work very well.

the rubber disc thing works the best, but the hair dryer works too. it depends on how good the sticker was and how long its been on the car.

Whats with people and stupid stickers?? I am keeping my FB sticker clean for a reason, and this car just proves my idea. The hairdryer works well, bump for that.

Only place anything ever gets 'stuck' on my car is on the glass. cleanly removable at any time with a paint scraper.

I've got a Turbo FB Crew sticker on my driver's side rear quarter window. That's it.

I agree, that is the only place for stickers.
