1999 Type RS brake question
Hey guys,
recently purchased a '99 Type RS model from Japan.
This one comes with bigger brakes from factory which need to be exchanged so I wanted to check before I order parts.
I found:
F124-33-25XA the part number for my front discs and
F124-26-25XA the part number for my rear discs
Is this correct?
If so, I also need to upgrade pads. Does anyone know which pads fit my brake system? OEM part number would be fine - or an alternative for (rare!) track events.

Those appear to be the correct rotors. I purchased pads for a standard US FD fitment and they fit my larger brakes.
some more discussion here: https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...parts-1131145/
as noted in the thread, if you buy OEM mazda pads you will want to get the 17” brake part number as the springs they include are different between the 2 brake sets.

Thanks for the fast reply!
So the rotors should be fine.
I guess I want to stick with OEM pads.
With the second part of your answer, do you mean this part: F1Z4-33-29Z (Mazda OEM 17 inch Brake Attachment Pad FD3S) ?

Thank you very much!
So to sum things up, to overhaul my brake system I'd need:
2 x F124-33-25XA 17 inch Front disc rotors
2 x F124-26-25XA Rear disc rotors
2 x F1Z4-33-29Z 17 inch front attachments
2 x FDY1-26-49Z Rear attachments
Correct?
For the pads I found FDZ3-33-28ZA for front brake pads and FDY1-26-48Z for the rear. Does this all fit together: 17 inch rotors, front/rear attachments, regular pads for 93-95 models?

The car has to go through initial homologation in my country which is pretty strict and OEM parts cause the least trouble, that's why I need to go this route for now.
Could anyone confirm the part numbers for the pads?
Also: Do I need to purchase 2x each of the attachment pads or do they come in a pair for each axle anyways?
