Hey everyone now i know this is a topic that has come up alot ive been looking at a bunch of stuff online and in the FSM on how to solve my problem but alot of the info out of the FSM the wiring diagrams especially are hard to figure out and the stuff online is all over the place so im jumping from site to site wasting my time what im looking for is a picture or wiring diagram of the fuel pumps plug in the trunk(ive seen some online that show a five prong plug, mines has four) so i know which color wire is what (power,grnd,etc) also looking into re wiring the fuel pump itself so a picture of some examples would be awsome , also considering doing fuel lines so any tips on that would be much apreciated if anyone has any info , pics or tips to help this wanna be mechanic out that would be great , thx.

 

the breakdown of what happened was the car sat for the winter wouldnt start so i changed out the fuel pump for a new one than it ran fine car sat for about two weeks after that and then wouldnt start so broke it down to a fuel issue again ive now got the pump out of the car and tested the pump to a battery and i got no response from tjhe pump or spark of any kind so im wondering if you can just direct wire a pump like that or if i have to have it hooked up the to harness from the car and put power to it through the plug??

 

pump does not run at IGN ON..it runs at START..then once the car starts the pump continues to run.
If you try to test voltage at Ign ON then you get nothing,But one way to see if you are getting signs of voltage back there is to watch the gauge,If that moves you got "something"
