1988 Rx7 Vert wont start

So I have been trying to figure out why my new 88 vert wont start. I bought it non running and figured it was just flooded like the last one I had. I tried the fuse trick and replaced all the spark plugs with trailing and leading. Then I checked for spark and there is no spark on the leading coil and the trailing coil only sparked one time everytime I turned the key and cranked the engine. When I had the plugs out and turned the engine over I could hear puffs of air so that I guess was my poor man compression check lol... But the non spark is my main concern. I have 12v coming from the all of the black and yellow wire going to both coils too.
Thanks,
Michael

Coils need to be bolted to the fender for grounding purposes to work so check to see if this is an issue.

The coil is bolted to the fender I checked the ecu for damage and there wasn't any that I could see. I also checked the cas and the were all 160 ohms. I going to check and see if the trailing coil works again. Last time I used a spark plug against the alt bolt and it only sparked one time(trailing). Is that normal for trailing plug?

No spark on either of the coils.... should I assume it's not the coils because both are not working?

W/key to on what is the voltage on the Brown/White wire at the either the TPS or Pressure Sensor? It should read 5 volts. If it had 0 volts, for example, then the car would not start.

I don't think I am getting any voltage from the brown/white at the pressure sensor I couldn't find a tps brown/white wire there is only a black-red green-red and an orange.... I think it's the tps with a 3 prong plug on the throttle body. Is that it? But still whats wrong if I don't have volts?

Then try the Orange colored wire at the TPS w/key to on.

I don't think they have any voltage... my multi meter is some auto BS and show random voltage when it's not even hooked up. When I hook it to the battery it will show the voltage 12.23 but when I hook it up to the orange wire it like 86.35 and I know that's not right.

there is a green/yellow and an all green wire coming out of a green plug to the right of the ecu on the A-pillar on the passenger side. Is that a speaker wire of some sort? Because the guy before me put a stereo in and had those wires going to the aftermarket cd player... Most unorthodox stereo install I have ever seen. You don't think that the wire could be the same green/yellow wire coming from the leading coil do you?

I doubt it but a continuity test would tell you one way or the other.

Use the battery ground for the meter when testing for voltage of the 'Orange' colored wire w/key to on. If you are already doing it this way then get a meter you can rely on.
